Carpenter / WDO Repair Technician
Perform dry rot repair, wood replacement, framing, and WDO-related structural repairs across our four-county service area. You will work directly from termite inspection reports to complete Section 1 clearances for homeowners and real estate transactions.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced WDO repair technician to join our field operations team. In this role you will execute structural repairs identified in termite and pest inspection reports — everything from dry rot replacement and sistered framing to exterior siding repairs and subarea work. You will work closely with our licensed inspectors and be the final step in getting homeowners and real estate transactions to clearance. This is steady, skilled work with a team that takes pride in doing the job right.
What You Will Do
- Perform dry rot repair, wood replacement, and framing repairs per WDO inspection reports
- Execute exterior siding, fascia, eave, and substructure repairs
- Read and interpret California Structural Pest Control reports to scope and complete Section 1 clearance work
- Communicate job status and any scope changes to the office and inspectors
- Maintain tools, vehicle, and materials to company standards
- Work safely and cleanly at residential and commercial properties
Requirements
- 3+ years of carpentry experience (residential repair work strongly preferred)
- Ability to read and understand California Structural Pest Control (WDO) inspection reports
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently on job sites
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces (crawl spaces, attics) and at heights
