General Home Inspections That Start With Your Property

Tell us what you are buying, selling, or trying to learn, so we can discuss the scope, access, and facts you need before booking.

A home inspection and a WDO report answer different questions

A general home inspection is a visual review of a home within an agreed scope. Tell us which buildings and systems matter to you and what report you need, so we can plan the visit around the home and access.

If a buyer, lender, or contract asks for a termite or WDO report, request a separate WDO inspection for wood-destroying pests and related signs in the areas seen. If you need both types of visit, say so when you call.

Before you call, gather these details

  1. 1. Property: Address, type of home, unit count, and any garage, ADU, or outbuilding you want considered.
  2. 2. Access: Who can open occupied units, locked rooms, attics, subareas, or common spaces.
  3. 3. Decision: Your deadline and the condition questions or written deliverable you need for a transaction.

Plan around the property in your city

An added unit in Salinas and a shared basement in San Francisco raise different access questions. Choose your city for a booking checklist.

Tell us what the property includes

Select General Home Inspection and include the address, type of home, who has the keys, and your due date. Tell us if you need a WDO report too, so we can plan each scope.

For a near deadline, call (831) 500-1613 to check open dates.
