Fumigation is the right call when drywood termites (Incisitermes minor) are in separated members in more than one part of the structure. In Soledad that pattern usually starts outside. Fascia, eave tails, patio covers, and arbors take the full force of a long rainless summer with afternoons in the high 90s, a colony establishes in one of them, and over a few years it works inward to the attic framing and the interior trim.
